This contemporary two-tone dress watch, from TAG Heuer's new Link series, represents an elegant blend of precision and style. A gold-plated bezel frames the round white mother-of-pearl dial, which features three-hand function with gold tone hands and markers. The hands and markers are treated with a luminescent coating for optimal radiance and readability. A date window at the three o'clock position and a monochrome TAG Heuer logo complete the sophisticated look. The dial is set in a 27-mm solid steel case, which presents on a graceful steel link bracelet with polished gold-plated accents. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement, a screw-down crown and caseback, and a curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This Link series watch is water-resistant to 200 meters.
I did a lot of research before committing to this purchase. After studying lots of reviews from multiple sites I decided to take a trip to Nordstrom's (my favorite place for face to face purchases) and looked at the TAG selection there. At first I was thinking the Aquaracer would be better for my budget... but after trying it on, I realized that for my petite wrist it wasn't setting very well. Instead the Link was looking better, and in person the two tone looks fabulous. I wanted it to mix well for both gold/silver jewelery and day/night occasions. I'd also say that this watch isn't overly flashy in person- I think it's just perfect for work.
At Norstrom's this watch was selling for about $2,300... by making this purchase on Amazon.com I saved almost $1,000! When the box came, it looked like any other Amazon purchase. Inside of the package it came with all the original TAG purchase peices (TAG box and watch was in protective wrapping). I went back to Nordstrom's to ask them to take out some of the links and they didn't notice a thing until I told them. Unfortunately, Nordstrom's does not do a price match unless the item is another retail store. I'm pretty sure they know Amazon sells them for less and won't do a price match with Amazon.
I think the only thing I would improve about the Amazon selection is the ability to zoom in to see the merchandise and the product description. If you want a better look you can go to the TAG site, zoom in... zoom out... look at it from all angles. At Nordstrom's- the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the construction of the materials, I hope Amazon can beef up the product description a little bit more.

I checked it out online at several sites, and saw other Tag Heuer watches in local shops for lots more money. I decided that this one was probably best for me, and I love it! I get lots of compliments on the beauty of my new watch, and I love that it keeps accurate time in the smallest detail! No more being late..... And the price here was excellent - I saved hundreds of dollars.
