You can even mute phone calls with the easy-access mute button.

certainly no iPhone ... which is a good thing!
the 8520 phone actually works well on at&t! no matter how much you learn the iphone keyboard, a blackberry full physical qwerty still wins, hands down. the spell checker and predictive type on bberry is better vs iphone and with the physical keyboard you misspell a lot less. since you can sync your itunes on here you only "miss" the iphone for its apps which really only work best on wifi. 8520 is lightweight, fairly thin, very light, has nicely spaced keys, and really cool media controls blended into the top of the device. nice use of rubber here on the device too lends some durability to glossy plastic finish. I jammed a 16G nand flash card into it too so i have music, movies etc with me. I bought the unlocked version since i use the 8520 when traveling to US from abroad .... without a full blackberry data package you lose out on things like email and blackberry messenger - but this is my 2nd/travel phone so i dont care too much - I use it when in the US with pay as you go on at&t - i get what i want a phone that works, easy texting, wifi browsing and music/video. iPhone is my main phone abroad but it wont stay that way once renewal time comes. I could easily see 8520 being my main phone but if you want the mobile internet experience (3G) and slightly cooler packaging then go for the 9700, but you pay for it - a lot more. given cost differential I would easily buy 8520 over 8900 ...8520 just feels a tad cooler too vs 8900 still too corporate. yet both are pretty similarly equipped. if you had full blackberry data package with this as your main phone u r probably happy person. i am more than happy with this as 2nd/travel phone. Cool thing about this unlocked version is i can buy pay as you go sim card, slip it in and work no matter where i am. in past my edge (non3G) blackberries actually run things like google apps and internet fairly well. i am sure 9700 with full 3G is better but necessary??

Very Satisfied
Purchased the LN46C650 model 3 weeks ago ($1167 thru Amazon) and absolutely love it. I was not sure how much added value the internet TV would provide, but after having it for a few weeks I am very glad I went with this model over the non-internet models. I haven't tested every feature yet, so this review is based on taking the usual features for a spin.

Delivery: White-glove service was fantastic (on-time, no damage), but then again it would be pretty hard to mess up walking the set 15 feet inside the doorway. Nonetheless, they did great.

PROS:
- Pandora rocks. This is by far my favorite internet feature to stream music through the TV. I don't have a big stereo system and FM reception is spotty, so this really was a welcome feature.
- The sound is just fine. I know some say the Samsung sound isn't up to Sony, and that may be true, but how often are you blasting the volume past, say, 20? The room we have it set up in is relatively small (15x20), so it suits us just fine.
- YouTube, Vudo, Yahoo, Associated Press, Weather, and Flickr feeds are pretty cool. You can download movies from Netflix and Blockbuster, but i'm not sure this is any better (cheaper) than most cable services. I guess if you don't have cable this would be great.
- I have AT&T U-Verse, and the SD picture is great when tuned to non-HD channels. The HD is amazing.
- The Automotion is great, but only for sports in my opinion. We turn it off for regular programming as with HD and Automotion on, the scenes look a little on the cheap side (maybe too real??). It is like you are in the room, which i don't like. This is probably just a personal preference thing.
- The TV itself looks amazing and the lack of the red-touch-of-color I think is a good thing.
- Controls to tweak the picture seem more than adequate to suit anyone's preferences, though I'm not a A/V guru.
- AllShare feature lets you access music, photos and videos contained on networked computers through your TV (after downloading/installing samsung software on your PC). This worked flawlessly and setup was intuitive.
- Plug-N-Play media contained on a thumb drive works great too.
CONS: I can't think of any major ones, but I'll list a few initial thoughts...
- AnyNet+ seems before its time (you have to have all Samsung devices to use as far as I can tell)
That's about all I have. If anyone has any questions, I will try to answer. All in all, I have to give this TV a 5. The potential uses for the internet connectivity seems huge.

TAG Heuer Women's WAF1416.BA0813 Aquaracer Diamond Accented Quartz Watch

Product Description

Sparkling diamonds give the Aquaracer Watch #WAF1416.BA0813 from TAG Heuer its gorgeous feminine sensibility. Boasting the precision of Swiss quartz movement, this lovely accessory features a stainless steel case and band with fold-over clasp with safety, and an elegant mother of pearl dial, complete with scratch resistant sapphire crystal and date display at three o'clock. But it's the diamonds adorning the bezel and serving as hour markers that give this timepiece its glamour. The Aquaracer is the perfect addition to your dress or work wardrobe. It is water resistant to 984 feet.
Wow!!! Stunning watch at an unbelievable price
My husband bought this watch for me for an anniversary present. I spent a lot of time researching watches and styles. This watch is soooo beautiful. I thought it would be too small initially after reading some of the reviews but I went in to a store to try this one and the mid size one. This watch is very classy and can be worn dressy or as an every day watch. The larger one is more sporty but not as versital. I took the watch into an authorized Tag dealer to get it authenticated. It is the real deal. My husband bought it directly from Amazon and not from a third party dealer through Amazon. The dealer could not even come close to matching the price. He also mentioned this watch would be one that will continue to keep time well for many, many years because it is a well made watch. You get a lot of bling for the money. I looked at the Breitling Colt Oceane and the Rolex datejust. Both are VERY nice watches. This watch had more diamonds and is way more striking. I am very pleased to say the least.

Great, great, great!!!
I've had my eye on this watch for some time now. I kept checking back and saw on it Amazon.com for cheaper than anywhere else. I finally gave in back in March (Amazon.com was the actual seller and it was cheaper than it is now, sorry!) and bought it and I am so glad I did! I absolutely love this watch! The diamonds give it that extra shine and sparkle. The clasp does scratch, but you can take it to a jeweler to be polished. I like to read reviews and research beforehand, so I figured I would provide all the info that I would want when looking to buy a high priced item such as this. As far as buying the watch through Amazon.com, they DO NOT give you the manufacturer's warranty, as they are not an authorized Tag seller. However, they do provide you with their own 2 year warranty. Make sure you read up on this before purchasing, regardless of who the seller is. I did take this watch to a jeweler who opened it up and confirmed that this watch was authentic with original Tag parts. I also got the clasp polished, because it does scratch easily, as I said. Besides that, no complaints at all! It was shipped faster than originally stated (just a few days). The item was as promised AND authentic! I was highly satisfied with my purchase! Happy shopping!

Featuring a precision unibody enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, the MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessor as well as stronger and more durable. But Apple didn't stop innovating with the body's design. The MacBook Pro also includes a new 13-inch, LED-backlit glass display (instead of an LCD panel) as well as a glass trackpad that doesn't include a button (for larger tracking area) that features Apple's Multi-Touch technology.
This 13-inch MacBook Pro (model MB990LL/A) also now includes Apple's innovative built-in notebook battery for up to 7 hours of wireless productivity on a single charge without adding thickness, weight or cost. Using Adaptive Charging and advanced chemistry first introduced with the 17-inch MacBook Pro the built-in battery delivers up to 1000 recharges before it reaches 80 percent of its original capacity--nearly three times the lifespan of conventional batteries. Under the hood, the MacBook Pro is powered by a powerful 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (with 3 MB L2 cache and 1066 MHz front-side bus), which runs applications faster and more efficiently as well as helps to reduce power requirements and save on battery life. And video is powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor, which provides an outstanding everyday graphics experience with up to a 5x performance boost.
Other hardware features include a 160 GB hard drive, 2 GB of installed RAM (which can be upgraded to 8 GB), an 8x combo Superdrive (for burning dual-layer DVDs as well as CDs), built-in Gigabit Ethernet for high-speed networking, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), FireWire 800 port, Mini DisplayPort video output (for DVI and VGA connections), and a Secure Digital card slot for easy access to digital photos and audio stored on SD and MMC memory cards.

What a great machine!
I want to break this into TWO reviews. One about Mac in general (specifically OS X) and one about THIS computer.
Mac in general:
I was raised in a PC household. Dad worked with old-school technology in the 70s and 80s, and was serious about PCs. As a Linux / UNIX admin (and former Windows server admin), I am just used to working on PC gear. Since I can generally figure it out or reinstall, it was never a problem. Then I met Mac. Gone are the days of rebooting and trying to fix driver conflicts. Gone are the days of vague error messages. I love the simplicity and the way OS X just... WORKS. Aside from Office, everything you need is included right in it. If I can make the switch from PC to Mac, so can you. And I'm not just spitting the propaganda that the "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercial does. It really is that solid of a technology. I am a Mac, even though I'm paid to be a PC from 8-5.
And this product in particular:
I've used a 2005-era 20" iMac at work, plus my wife has had a MacBook (plastic white) for a while. I, being the computer geek, kept buying random cheap PC laptops and netbooks, hoping to find a simple solution. Sadly, I was just wasting more time trying to install OS_X86 or make the software do what I wanted. I had a Ghost image of my PC laptop so that I could restore it every 6 months when the XP began slowing down. Buying this Mac was a luxury, but was much needed for my own sanity!!
On a side note, I love Apple's ability to create products that solve problems, and their ability to charge almost a fair price for them. For example, the 500gb airport / backup is *almost* worth it to me, and will likely become worth it sometime soon. The same applied for this MacBook. I drooled for months at the unibody and waited for the new product line. I wholeheartedly believe that this exact model is the best laptop ever made. While it seems painful to pay a bit more than a PC laptop, look at what you're getting. Comparable hardware in a PC laptop (I priced out a few Dell laptops with the same specs) and this one is really a good price.
I upgraded mine with Crucial's 4gb RAM and stuck in a 500gb SATA drive. I can run 3 VM desktops (Fedora 11, Ubuntu, and Windows) simultaneously on VMware and... well, I see the performance issue, but I can still function. The battery is good too. While I'm getting more like... 5 hours of battery life, I'm also running the keyboard backlight and screen on bright all the time.
I love my new MacBook Pro 13. This thing is solid and light and absolutely beautiful. Fast, functional, and suits all my technology needs. Don't underestimate iPhoto's ability to sort photos by faces. I had an UNMANAGEABLE amount of photos... imported them in and POP! All done. Duplicates ignored, sorted by the embedded date, including videos. My iPhone photos (where I allowed the GPS to store data) show up on a map at the exact point where the photo was taken. Yeah, this is cool stuff. And face recognition works.. "pretty well". It gets me and my toddler confused, but in all fairness, she looks a lot like me. I just wish it was a *bit* smarter, but it's still a feature I'd miss if I didn't have it.
This laptop is the last one you'll ever need, at least for the next couple of years. I will not let mine out of my site. Buy one!!

TAG Heuer Men's CJ1110.BA0576 Link Quartz Chronograph Watch

Product Description

This handsome chronograph watch from Tag Heuer's Link series offers elapsed and total time chronograph functions with split-seconds and close consecutive times register. Three subdials, with 1/10 of a second, small seconds, and 12 hour registers, adorn the sleek black dial. The dial also features hand-applied faceted steel indexes, a date display, and luminous hands and hour markers for optimal readability. Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional rotating steel bezel with an engraved dive-time scale and a fluted edge. The dial is set in a 41 mm case cut from a single block of solid steel. It presents on a distinctive Y-link bracelet that fastens with a double locking fold over clasp with safety. Additional notable features include precise Swiss quartz movement, a screw-in crown, and a curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 200 meters, this watch is suitable for diving.

THe best in Watches is TAG
Got this watch a s a replacement for a Seiko Chronometer whose water resistant gasket gave out. It was ~1400 or so 4 years ago. Since then I have only had to have it serviced once (battery replacement) . Make sure you go to an Authorized TAG dealer for any service. Crystal stands up to everything-Yachting 50 miles off the East Coast. To lounging in the Jacuzzi by the deck and everything in between. I only have 2 watches now. This and a Movado Gold.

Elegant and Sporty in One
This is an excellent watch. It's sporty yet sophisticated in one. The band is brushed steel with no polish -- that makes it more scratch resistant but not as shiny as some other steel bands. However, the beautiful link design more than makes up for the lack of shine. The best part is the actual watch face. The sapphire crystal reflects the innerworkings of the black dial and the chronograph in a very intricate way, inviting curious admires to gaze in to its organized complexity. The chronograph is operated in a standard way without too much difficulty.
The double-safety clasp may take some time to get used to. Read up on this if you can't figure it out, because you don't want to scratch it before you've even worn it!

The watch is set in a 40 mm brushed steel case and presents on a handsome brushed steel link bracelet with smooth contours and flowing lines. The bracelet fastens with a fold over with safety clasp for added security. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement, a screw-down crown and caseback, and a curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This Link series watch is water-resistant to 200 meters.

BUY THIS WATCH!
I purchased this watch after seeing a co worker with it...I am in Law Enforcement and usually dress casual or in business attire. This watch cover's both spectrums completely. The quality of this watch is beyond expectation, the picture does not do this watch any justice. Once you put this piece of jewelry on your wrist I promise you will not be dissapointed. I ended up purchasing this through a local jeweler in NYC after doing better on the price and receiving the international warranty in place of the limited Amazon warranty.

Tag Heuer Link Quartz- The Best Watch I Have Ever Owned
My wife really surprised me this year on our anniversary by giving me this watch. We had seen this watch in some of the finer jewelry stores and knew that this was the watch I had wanted. I was hoping to replace a Seiko every day watch that I had been wearing for 22 years. It served me well, kept excellent time, and aside from losing just a bit of the gold plating on the band was in great shape. I just was ready for a change.
I must admit that this is the best watch I have ever owned. I've had it now for almost 2 months and other than changing the time for daylight savings time I doubt I will ever have to adjust it. It keeps time incredibly accurately, is really well made, and has a very masculine look. It really looks better in person than the pictures depict. I am very happy with it and would recommend it highly.

TAG Heuer Women's WAF1414.BA0812 2000 Aquaracer Watch

The elegant white mother-of-pearl dial has a clean, uncluttered look and features three-hand function, a tonal TAG Heuer logo, and an automatic date calendar at the three o'clock position. Framing the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved dive time markers, for safe timing of dives and other limited events. The watch is set in a 29 mm brushed steel case and presents on an elegant and durable brushed steel link bracelet with polished center links. The bracelet fastens with a double safety clasp and features an extension system that allows it to be worn over a diving suit. Other notable features of this watch include a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown and caseback for water resistance to 300 meters.

Very Nice and Great Price
This watch is the real deal. This watch is elegantly styled and not overpowering on a woman's wrist. To me, it struck the perfect balance between a high quality dress watch and one that you can wear everyday and not have to worry about it. It's stylish enough to wear when you're dressing up but also casual enough to wear to work. You don't have to worry about jumping in the pool or knocking it around a little. The clasp mechanism holds the watch securely in place. We had several links taken out at a local jewelry store...not a nationwide chain. It's priced hundreds less than any retail store in my area. I'd recommend going to look at them in person first though. It will save you some hassle in the event you don't like it...as sometimes website photos aren't the best. Overall a great value and hopefully my wife will get MANY great years of use out of it. I inquired about battery replacement and was told it runs approximately $70 in my area. I wouldn't trust it to a mall kiosk watch repair...though they'd probably offer to do it for $10.

Love this watch and this is a very good price here
I bought this watch a bit over a year ago and use it as my everyday watch. I could not be happier. I am extremely hard on watches and to put it bluntly, they get the crap beat out of them on a regular basis simply due to my life style. This watch is extremely attractive and not too "girly" looking. The face crystal must be made of kryptonite or something because I have yet been able to put a scratch on it, and trust me, I've tried. It keeps time perfectly; something quite important to me and the numbers, including the date are easy to read.
The price here on Amazon is great. To be honest I spent almost twice the amount shown here. I, like another reviewer here, would suggest you mail in the warranty. I have had no problems with mine, but if you have had a watch repaired recently, you know the cost. So far I have not had to change batteries.
This watch is in and out of water all of the time; rivers, creeks, lakes and such and there has been no problems in this area. I do not even get a condensation build up as I have had with previously owned watches over the years; some quite expensive.
All in all I could not be happier with this watch and do recommend it. Always remember...you get what you pay for.

TAG Heuer Men's WAB2011.BA0803 Automatic Aquaracer Watch

Product Description

Designed for optimal performance both in and out of the water, this handsome automatic watch blends sporty prestige styling with optimal readability. The 42 mm case is crafted from a solid block of stainless steel and showcases a blue dial with bold luminous hands and markers and a red-tipped seconds hand. The dial also features a tonal TAG Heuer logo and a date display at the three o'clock hour. Framing the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel, in matching blue, with oversized Arabic numerals and a luminescent marker at the 12 o'clock position. The handsome link bracelet, in brushed and polished steel, fastens securely with a fold-over-clasp-with-safety and features an extension system so that the watch can be worn over a diving suit. Other notable features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-in crown and caseback for water resistance to 300 meters. Calibre 5 automatic movement means that this watch winds itself with the natural motion of your wrist and does not require a battery.

Well worth the price
I waited 10 days after purchase to write this review because I wanted to test the accuracy of this watch. I can safely say that the time gain is about 10 seconds, which means on average the watch gains one second a day. Even by COSC standards (the Swiss time-keeping institute that awards certificates to superlative chronometers like Rolex and Breitling) this is very good indeed. I believe the movement is in-house made, though the base caliber is probably from ETA/Valjoux. My version is blue, though black is equally handsome. Note that the latest versions have "Aquaracer'' on the dial but I don't think it makes any difference performance-wise. Also note that Longines have just a couple of months ago released a line that looks similar and is about US$300 cheaper but the finishing on the TAG is much better. All in all, this is a rugged daily use watch that keeps excellent time and so represents decent value for money.

Great watch from the best online store Amazon
First off all Its a thumbs up from me for Amazon, This is my first online experience and Amazon gave me that confidence through a great satisfying experience they made. I was stunned when I checked the watch condition with all the accessories and the box are intact and real fresh from the Tag Heuer factory.defenitelly I'll keep on coming back to Amazon.
Secondly. regarding the watch,Theres nothing I can say but "Excelent".I've been a tag heuer Fan for 11 years now but this is my first automatic watch in my whole life and I was not dissapointed.Performance,Quality and Design I definitely recommend this watch to anybody BTW Amazon financing is really a great help. Thanks

Can't pass this up
This watch is beautiful. I bought it to replace my old Tag which was more than twice the price and not near as timeless with a stunning deep blue background and large face. You will not be disappointed, and, of course, it comes has all of the classic Tag features with a great link band and waterproof up to 300M.

Tag Heuer 2000 Aquaracer SS with Blue dial
Amazon did it again, offering a Beautiful TAG HEUER SS Aquaracer with blue dial for the best price on the net. This watch usually sells for over $1,000. Highly polished Stainless Steel Band with case looks great with dark blue dial. Very easy to see the time because of the blue dial, and better at night with the luminous hands. I've receive lots of compliments on this watch, it looks great while dressed up in the office, or casual at home, and sporty and rugged looking on the golf course. The watch matchs up with my Blue BMW perfectly. I plan on keeping this watch over 7 years. Has great style.

Spectacular watch at a good price
This is a great watch from TAG Heuer that anyone will love. This is a quartz version of the popular Aquaracer series, which also comes in an automatic movement. I chose the quartz because I'd rather not worry about wearing it every day to keep it wound and I wasn't really interested in getting a watch winder. The watch has a sporty look with a rotating bezel and a classic blue background. It's classy enough that you can wear it with a nice suit but sporty enough that you can wear it every day. Additionally, it's extremely durable, with a difficult to scratch sapphire crystal and tough construction. Finally, Amazon has an outstanding price on this item.

Buy one!!

  • 17 inch LED-backlit display, 1920-by-1200 resolution
  • Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with automatic graphics switching and 512 MB dedicated graphics memory
  • Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard Operating System

Product Description

Updated with Intel's Core i5 processor and next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics, the 17-inch Apple MacBook Pro is faster than ever and will keep you working longer away from power cords with an enhanced battery life of up to 9 hours of battery life. As with previous models, the new MacBook Pro features a precision unibody enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, creating a thin and light mobile computing workhorse (less than 1 inch thin and just 6.6 pounds) that's also highly durable. And it includes a 17-inch, LED-backlit glass display (instead of an LCD panel) as well as a glass trackpad that doesn't include a button (for larger tracking area) that features Apple's Multi-Touch technology.
The MacBook Pro also offers excellent graphics flexibility with two video processors--the discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M processor (with 512 MB of GDDR3 video memory) for heavier workloads and an integrated Intel HD Graphics processor for better battery life on the go. And the new automatic graphics switching feature determines which graphics processor an application needs and switches instantly between the processors.
It comes pre-loaded with Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system--an operating system custom-designed for the advanced technology inside--and it also comes with the iLife '09 suite of applications, including iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, and iTunes.

Solid laptop, incredible performance, worth the cost
I finally made the decision to get rid of my two laptops (an HP envy, and a 13" macbook pro) in favor of this 17" macbook pro with a dual boot setup using Boot Camp. Initial impressions: The best choice I've ever made. Here's the whole thing broken down:

THE SIZE
This thing is pretty beastly, but it's not unwieldy. You definitely feel its size the second you pick one up, or move it around, but you'll quickly get over that once you open it up and turn it on. The keyboard is super expansive, the screen is unbelievable (more on that later) and you can still stay mobile with this thing if you really need to. It's not something you can easily move around with 1 hand from room to room, but if you're like me, and do most of your work at a desk, then this is a great choice to make. (Note: I also own an iPad, which is a fantastic pair with this thing, since it does about 90% of what I do on-the-go as far as mobile computing goes.)

THE SCREEN
So I mentioned already that you'll most likely fall in love with this thing like I did when you open it up and turn it on. It has the highest PPI (pixels per inch) of all the apple laptops they sell and it shows. I actually am considering not even hooking this up to my external monitor anymore, because of how brilliantly sharp it is. Colors really pop and text is easy to read. Also, since it's 17", you get a better-than-HD 1920x1200 resolution. My work is in development, so this is really a major selling point for me. I need to be able to manage all my windows in Xcode and Interface builder without tons of overlap and clicking between browsers, my chat windows and my code.

THE KEYBOARD
If you've used a macbook pro keyboard in the past year or so, you'll feel right at home with this thing. I will say this as a negative, however: It's not super comfortable on your arms right past your wrist, because the sharp edges of the laptop dig into your skin after a while.

THE PERFORMANCE
I copied over my entire OS/settings to this new macbook pro and ran some field tests to see how fast this thing is in comparison to my old macbook pro--and it screams. An iPhone/iPad project that takes 5-10 seconds to build on my old machine (core 2 duo) takes a fraction of that time here. The i5 is most definitely a step up from previous core 2 duos. I finally have a laptop I can stick Windows 7 on that is as good as a dedicated Windows machine can do. (Being able to have this 1 comp to run both environments is great!)

BATTERY LIFE
I will have to come back and update on battery life, but I can tell you that it's worlds better than my HP. That was similarly spec'ed and barely worked 2 hours on the go. This one so far is looking like 6 hours with wifi and full brightness. They have it rated at 8-9 hours, but I'm sure that's with brightness turned down and not full use the whole time. Truthfully, anything better than 2 hours with this kind of power is great for me.

TOUCHPAD
Again, if you've used a recent MacBook Pro, this is essentially identical. The biggest change here is that you can now use "inertial" scrolling, so that you can just flick your fingers to scroll long pages, and it will keep scrolling until it slows to a stop. This is very similar to the iPhone scrolling of long pages, or if you've used a Magic Mouse, it does the same thing.

Also, of note, is that of all the new copy cat glass track pads, I haven't used one that works as well as these. Even inside Windows, it performs real well and you feel productive with it. I've used other PC's with the no-button glass touchpad, and it makes me want to throw them across the room after a few minutes..

OTHER THOUGHTS/CONCERNS
While I'll keep this at 5 stars, this isn't necessarily a perfect computer. I have a few gripes with it, but they aren't really deal breakers and all the other pros make up for them so well that I'm okay with it. For starters, this has three USB ports (the 15 and 13 model only have 2) but unfortunately they are literally all lined up next to each other. If you have any kind of a fat usb device, you're out of luck for placing anything next to it.

Also, you'll most likely need to buy the mini-display port to HDMI converter because while Apple loves mini-display port, the rest of the world is just now using HDMI as its standard. You can find one here on amazon for real cheap (<$10). I take this as a con simply because you'll need to (most likely) always carry around an adapter or two to hook up to most projects or tv's or monitors.

VIDEO PERFORMANCE
I haven't yet tested any games or anything but it'll run HD videos so smoothly and they look *fantastic* on this screen. Seriously--I thought my old macbook pro 13 looked good running HD, but this computer puts it to shame. I can't wait to try out some games on here. (Valve is coming to the mac soon! And of course Blizzard makes all their games for mac os as well, so what more do you really need? :) )

FINAL THOUGHTS

If you're looking to spend this amount of money on an apple, and don't mind the bigger size of this thing, then go for it. You won't regret it. I'm so happy to be using this coming from the two laptops I had to previously carry around everywhere. Having everything in 1 device, with this much power, and with this great of a battery life, is a blessing.

UPDATE - JUNE 10, 2010
I've had this laptop for some time now, and thought I'd go ahead and update on some of the things I promised I would earlier in the review. As some other reviewers have pointed out, I'm not quite sure how Apple managed to get 8 or 9 hours out of 1 charge, unless they were using it with all its wireless signals off and on very low brightness. But the battery life is still good--I can stay unplugged for 5+ hours if need be.

Computer games on here run really well. Valve is indeed on the Mac now, and here to stay. The games work and look great! If you're a casual computer gamer, and like to play things like Half Life or Portal, Civilization, etc etc, then this computer will easily suit your need.

Finally, I don't know how I missed this is in my first review, but the sound is really very good. It comes with a subwoofer inside, and can produce incredibly loud sound without distortion.

Outstanding and gorgeous, couldn't be happier!
Shipping was super fast and arrived well cushioned in a larger box with plenty of packing peanuts, many thanks to the shipper (Electronic Express). Overall couldn't be happier w/ this laptop.. not only is it super light, screen is crisp and bright, but the design and quality of materials used is outstanding for this price. Personally I think it looks nicer than mac for nearly half the price! Win7 functions like a champ. My favorite is the edge to edge keyboard with full numeric pad, very handy for finances and spreadsheets. This is one gorgeous and outstanding laptop for this price; I would be very hard pressed to find a comparable laptop on the market today. Anyway go buy it, you've got my word this is an excellent buy for your buck!

GREAT LAPTOP
I do love this laptop a lot.Search websites with the one touch WEB bottom is brilliant.Screen display beautiful and does not catch fingerprints.Of course there is nowhere to find this particular laptop with this low price. Please don't hesitate and buy it,I promise you will be happy!

Wonderful
I've been searching for a laptop for a while and I think I have found the perfect one of me. I work in accounting so having the numeric keypad was very important to me. The look is very sleek and I got a purple keyboard cover from the Sony store so that is very cute. This is a great work and play computer.

Just Awesome! I'm loving this machine
I just got my new Macbook Pro MC375LL and I'm loving it, though if you're a Mac user you definitely have better review than mine as I just switched to Mac from Windows, now I really wonder why have I been using Windows all these years, for more than twenty years I've been switching laptops and desktop computers every 3-6 months, not because I like doing that (it sure hurt my pocket) but I really can't stand a slow machine and every single laptop (from HP, Toshiba, Dell, Sony and the last one I was using before switching to this one was IBM Thinkpad T61 with powerful CPU (or that's what I thought until it started crawling everytime I ask to run an App.) have to wait for 15 min to have full start up with few items in startup line, here, I only touch the power button and wait for 30 Sec!
anyway, as I said, I can't give a great technical and detailed review since I'm new to this machine but my advice to Windows users! switch to Mac today and don't waste your time and money upgrading your Windows laptop,
if you buy this laptop you better get the Case Shell just to keep it Scratch and Dent free!

Amazing Laptop
This is my first Mac ever, and I absolutely love it. The only downside is the high price, but this laptop is certainly worth the price you pay. The trackpad is amazing, and the aluminum unibody is so nice. The keyboard feels so good to type on, and the backlit keys look awesome. I won't get into the software too much, but Mac OSX is so user-friendly and the programs that come on it are fantastic.

Goodbye Windows!
I just switched (May 2010) from Windows7 to the Mac 15" PowerBook Pro (i7). This machine is a dream!
Boot time after a complete shutdown is about 30 to 45 seconds, even with tons of software. Shutdown is maybe 10 seconds! You can close the lid to put it to sleep, open the lid and voila! No waiting! (My one-year-old top-of-the line Win7 laptop grinds away, installs updates, gives me constant popups saying I have to deal with this or that--by which time I've forgotten what I was going to do when I turned it on.
It's fast! It's clean! Once you get used to the interface it's delightful that it stays out of your way. Everything works. I get 5-6 hours of graphics work done without a recharge.
I've even found a substitute for OneNote that works for me: Scrivener.
It's intended as a writing program, but I like it because I can get in quickly to save notes, import a web page or image or sound file, and organize everything easily. For longer projects it's thoughtfully designed and intuitive to use. It doesn't have the colors and tabs of OneNote, but has all the functionality. Amazon doesn't sell it, but they should. MacWorld just voted it one of the must-have apps. ([...])
One complaint about the PowerBookPro is Airport. I get dropped offline when I'm a little distance from my wireless router, even though my Windows machines find the network easily. It's annoying and needs a fix. Restarting the computer often helps, and since restart is so quick...well, still 5 stars from me!

Perfect as always
As much as I wished Apple did more changes in the new models of Macbook pro still this one is perfect in many ways: it has great design, high performance, outstanding display. Still it has a few minor imperfections: it heats a lot. I use it mainly at home and almost always it stands on the table but if I actually put it somewhere close to skin it just burns intolerably, so it's hard to call this a LAPtop :), the the curves near the trackpad where the niche for opening is (don't know how this part is called))) well for some reason they are made so sharp that they sometimes leave marked on my hands while using trackpad. Other than these remarks it's absolutely great.

Love the matte screen option. Great computer. Time will tell if its worth the $$,
After having a 3 year-old Dell die on me (to be fair it was put through multiple trips to and from school in my bag, sometimes while it was still on) and a Toshiba Satellite fail after a year, I was tired of paying bargain prices and receiving a frustrating experience to go with it.
My girlfriend had talked about buying a Mac and I always balked at them as being too expensive. Well, most of the main problems with my old laptops were hardware/compatability/driver issues. Knowing that Apple makes the hardware and develops the software for their computers made me think they would be able to integrate the two aspect better PC's I have used. I still have nightmarew about all the drivers I had to hunt down when I downgraded my Toshiba from Windows Vista to XP.
I had actually purchased a 13" Macbook Pro with a glossy screen from Amazon a few days before Apple did their big upgrade in April 2010. It was a beautiful looking machine and was easy to use after I became accustomed to the differences from a PC, ie; What is the "Finder"? However, the 13" screen was a little small for me. I do some photography work, and I watch movies on it as well so I decided the 15" Macbook Pro would be the way to go. Once they did their upgrade for all their machines I decided to buy directly from Apple.
I debated long and hard on the glossy vs. matte option. Going with the high-res screen (1680 X 1050 as opposed to standard 1440 X 900) was a no-brainer. After doing some online research I also chose the matte option (as opposed to the default glossy screen). I had never actually seen a matte screen as the local Best-Buy didn't have one in stock. I was a little nervous on my decision, but I called Apple tech support and easily arranged for a return on my not-yet-arrived 15" Macbook Pro should I want one with a glossy screen instead. The person I spoke with even arranged for return shipping labels paid for by Apple! I didn't upgrade the harddrive or RAM because I can do those myself, or have them done later, for a lot cheaper than Apple's pricing.
The new 15" w/ the matte screen came and I opened up some high-res You-tube videos and compared it side-by-side to the glossy. This was the middle of the day and the lone window in our living room was creating all sorts of reflections on the glossy screen while the matte was unphased. Sure the blacks on the glossy were a deeper and the colors might have "popped" a little more, but knowing I would be using my laptop in a room lit by daylight or with a bright light, the henious reflections on the glossy screen definitely made it a no-go for me. This was a window that was in front of the computer and wasn't even directly shining on the screen. I was really happy I decided to go matte.
That being said, I have loaded up Photoshop CS5 and it runs great. Way faster than my old laptop. I appreciate a lot of the little touches that Apple puts into their products that are becoming more and more noticable every day I use it. (Such as their search feature is always available with 1 click from the desktop) I plan to buy an Applecare plan towards the end of my one-year warranty period to make sure this lasts me at least 3 years. Hopefully I might be able to keep this for 4 or 5 years.
Overall, if you have the $$ I highly recommend this product.
Pros-
- Unibody design is super-sturdy and slim.
- Love the matte screen
- The high resolution upgrade helps with multi-tasking, programming, photo-editing, web-browing, ect..
- Super-fast w/Photoshop
- Good side-to-side viewing angle, (better than the screen on the Windows-based laptops I have used)
- Keyboard is very pleasant to use
- Speakers are adequate
- Touchpad is awesome! Large and easy to use with 2, 3, and 4 finger controls not found anywhere else
but on a Mac. I rarely use a mouse anymore, which works well for using it on my lap.
- Quick boot up time. Opening and closing the lid for "sleep mode" waiting time is basically zero.
- Good battery life
Cons
- Expensive (duh)
- Can get hot on the underneath towards the back where the processor is located.
- Up and down viewing angle not so good (this is common w/laptops though)
- Some software not available for Mac
- USB 2.0 (instead of newer 3.0)
- Glowing Apple logo on the back of the screen is a bit of advertising I could do without.
- Sharp Edges on front (can apparently be filed down but I am wary about doing this)
- No Blu-Ray drive
Update:
Maybe it is just me, but my Apple seems to have more issues with Flash and streaming internet content than I have ever had with a PC. I know Apple is at war with Adobe and has gone to great lengths to disparage the Flash format. They do not seem to have worked too hard to ensure that Flash content works flawlessly with their machines. Streaming videos will stop or fail to load alltogether. This doesn't happen often, but with a PC I never had any issues like this at all.

Expensive, but worth it.
The macbook worked right out of the box,set-up was easy.I had a pc laptop (whose company name I won't say) and had all sorts of problems (slow boot-up, and screen and registry problems) I got so fed up, I decided to get rid of it.
While looking at laptops at Best Buy store, I looked at the macbook pro "15.4" which just happened to have the new Core i5 processor. At first, I balked at the price, the more I "played" with it, the more I liked it (And this is from someone who has NEVER owned a mac of any kind) And while I plan to keep my pc desktop, the macbook has become a welcome addtion to my household.

a looker
Had a Rolex Submariner and definitely consider the Cartier Roadster Chrono a trade up. I get tons of compliments on the watch. Amazon's price is excellent (haven't seen a new one lower), altho I purchased from a local jeweler for the customer service aspect ($6200).

Great Watch
I got this watch as a college graduation gift from my parents. It is a really great watch with a very modern design. I like the squarish face and it is not very common unlike Rolex's. It does indeed sratch easily so you have to be careful with that. Other then that it is a great watch that gets noticed. Cartier makes great watches and from my experience this is no exception.

Beautiful Piece
This is an absolutely gorgeous watch. Its simple and understated. The mother of pearl face adds just the right touch of shimmer without the watch standing out too much. It doesn't look like some giant piece of "bling" that people tend to wear these day.
For those of you with small wrists, my wife has very very small wrists and this watch looks great on her.

Excellent watch at Excellent price
At first I wasn't sure if I should invest in an expensive watch online. I was worrying about the quality and whether if it's copycat. But since Amazon is a very reputable online store so I put my trust in them and decided to make the purchase.
What an excellent watch!!!. If I get this in a store it would be 40% more then what I am paying at Amazon for exactly the same thing... Thank you.

Tag watch
This Tag is beautiful. Go look at it in a mall jewlery store and then buy it from Amazon. Same exact watch and I saved literally 1500 bucks from the store I was looking at it.

This is a very nice watch. It isn't as quite on the same level as the Hungarian Chronocentric Proctological 6000, but I can wear this watch to functions with my Leonard Logsdail dark slate gray and feel quite alright. I was up in the air for some time between this purchase and paying my next 65 mortgage installments; believe me, it was not an easy decision but I do feel I made the right one. We all need stuff to fill the hole so if you're contemplating it, stop. Just buy it, you'll be glad you did!

Simply the best
I lusted after this watch for years. I was able to buy it with my bonus from AIG this year. All I have to say about the Tourbillon Mystère is that it is perfection, and you need this watch. You may not know it yet, but you do. Get it.

TAG Heuer Men's CJF211A.BA0594 Link Automatic Chronograph Day-Date Watch

Product Description

Quality, precision, and reliability set the TAG Heuer Men's Link Automatic Chronograph Day-Date Watch apart from run-of-the-mill men's timepieces. Functioning without a battery, this automatic watch powers with the movement of your arms. Framed by a tachymeter bezel and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the black dial features luminescent hands and indexes, a day and date display at the three o'clock position, and chronograph functions. Crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel, the watch is water resistant to 556 feet (220 M).

Fantastic watch

Bought this watch at 34% off 3600 value from an authorized dealer. Really great watch!!. This watch is not yet on Tag's website, since it was just released April 2008. Also, this is a new model for cjf2110.BA0594, the mentioned model will no longer be available.
The watch has transparent bottom, which is just beautiful. Compared to other Tag watched, this one has a dual coating (inside and outside of the silicon glass. So you cant even see reflection on the glass. It seems as if there is no glass. I did a lot of research, this one has day and day and the automatic model. If this one were to have perpetual calendar (auto date change according to month) it would cost over 7K so this is really a good deal. search for more pics on Google pictures and you see it in person. It is little heaver than an average watch.
I would say in this crunch time, if you can, buy from an authorized dealer so you have a peace of mind, if in case anything goes wrong.

great product

I've owned this watch for about 1 month now. I absolutely love this watch. It is very impressive watch, and the see through back is great to show off. I've very happy, and everytime I look at this watch, I can't help but be glad I spent the money to get it.

Omega Men's 2221.80.00 Seamaster 300M Quartz "James Bond" Blue Dial Watch

Product Description

The Omega Men's Seamaster Blue Dial Watch makes its statement with a sporty deep blue dial with luminous hands and hour markers, and a calendar window that sits at the 3 o'clock. This timepiece also features quartz precision movement with rhodium-plated finish for greater precision, stability, and durability of the movement, a stainless steel case and bezel, and a stainless steel band. The blue bezel is offset with white markers and Arabic numerals. The watch also features a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal coated on the inside with anti-reflective treatment, and a calendar window at the 3 o'clock. Designed for skin diving and other water sports, the Seamaster is water resistant to 1,000 feet.

James Bond is Back in Casino Royale

This 2006 edition of the famous James Bond watch made its debut in the movie Casino Royale. Actually, there are two Omega watches in the movie; the limited edition Omega Seamaster Plant Ocean Big Size 2907.50.91 and the limited edition Omega Seamaster Chronometer 2226.80.00. The watch offered here carries on the James Bond style without the limited edition price tag.
This style of the James Bond watch first appeared in the movie 'Golden Eye' (1995) and is still available as the full size gents automatic chronometer model 2531.80.00 and the same in a quartz model 2541.80.00. The new 2006 quartz model 2221.80.00 has several refinements that you should consider over the previous (but still available) model. Most notably is the appearance of the watch face. The blue wave dial is a deeper shade blue with a more distinctive wave pattern and the Seamaster script is a subtle red. More apparent is the hour markings are now encased in stainless steel mountings instead of painted on as in the previous model. This alone cleans up the watch face and makes it look like it costs thousands more.
Bear in mind that any Omega watch purchased on the internet voids the International Warranty, so read the seller's warranty terms carefully. This watch is also available in an automatic chronometer with the new Co-Axial escapement movement as model 2220.80.00.

A true piece of art trumps price

Like the title says, a true piece of art trumps price, every time. This watch is the perfect mate of beauty, class, craftsmanship and usefulness.
The watch immedietly stands out a quality time piece to even the most casual of observer. It sets itself apart from minor details; details that speak of expierence, care and attention to quality.
I cannot give an honest pro/con list of the watch's qualities at this time because I haven't owned it long enough. This review is my initial impressions. Although I conducted an immense amount of research before purchasing this particular model, and from the reviews, personal testimonials and widely-available resources, this watch is as sturdy and reliable as it is beautiful.
Details: This watch is like any fine jewlery product. From the images posted on Amazon you cannot get a feel for how this watch feels and looks in person. All metal parts are either finely brushed or beautifully polished. This watch stands apart from every lower-end watch in the spectrum. All the laser etchings are crisp and clear and fonts are classic and clean. It is the small details such as the font, exact mechanical tolerances and minor touches of class that make this watch the fine piece that it is.
The root purpose of this review is not to brag about the watch though, there are plenty of people that do that already. The point I want to clarify is that customers shopping from Amazon can do so without hesitation. Amazon IS NOT, an official Authorized Dealer (AD). Therefore, the Omega warranty is void! If you are looking for a watch from an AD that will cover the full Omega warranty - DO NOT order the watch from Amazon. Although, I will say this: Amazon does provide a comprehensive and detailed warranty and support network for customers. If your not concerned about the Omega International Warranty, then you can purchase this watch without concern. Amazon provides the official hang tags, outter box, inner red leather box, instruction manual, official and authentic pictogram and International Warranty card (which is not endorsed by an Omega AD so therefore the Omega warranty is no good). I felt completely comfortable purchasing this watch from Amazon despite not having the Omega support available. When I purchased the watch on June 14th, my only concern was the shipping and condition upon delivery. When I recieved the watch a mere five days later (shipped on the 15th, arrived on the 19th overseas to an APO address), there was no damage to the product or the packaging whatsoever. In fact, I was surprised and pleased at how quickly the watch arrived.
To keep this as short as prudent, I won't get into the details of Quartz vs. Automatic but if you have questions or want more details, you can search online where there is a plethora of information or contact me and I will be happy to explain it. But suffice to say, I was very happy with the quartz watch.
Bottom line: If you an Amazon customer wishing to purchase this watch and your NOT concerned with having the Omega Warranty, go for it, dive in and enjoy every wonderful detail this instrument provides. If your a collector and stickler for having the warranty then I suggest moving on to your local jeweler or AD.

The perfect watch

I bought this watch for my husbands 40th birthday. He loves it. It is georgous, but not flashy. The color/s of the watch make you look twice at it...sometimes deep blue, sometimes bright blue. It reminds us of volga blue granite...very classy. We looked at A LOT of watches before landing on this one, some more expensive, some less, but this one was the winner. We are very happy with the purchase.

Great Blue dial watch!!

I bought this watch at an authorized TAG dealer..The blue dial is so classy. It is much better than a black dial. The blue reflects very well in sunlight however the watch is not flashy! I highly recommend this for any professional who wants to have a decent watch for all occassions.
